What we use
One essential cookie records your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. If you log in to the WordPress administration area, WordPress sets its own session cookies. If you select Accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets cookies to measure which pages get used. Nothing loads, and no request reaches Google, unless you accept.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can also clear cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back on your next visit. A table listing each cookie by name, purpose and lifetime should be added here once analytics is switched on in production. It is left out instead of filled with values nobody has checked against the live site.
